Job summary
ZEISS Group is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team in Massachusetts. After a comprehensive ~3 month training, you will travel to customer sites to install, repair, troubleshoot, service, and calibrate advanced measuring instruments such as CMMs.
You will document work and maintain records while representing ZEISS in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus tech school or higher in a technical discipline, and
Qualifications
- Must have worked with hand tools and basic electrical test equipment.
- CMM knowledge or installation experience is a plus.
- Strong Windows operating system familiarity required.
Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites in the region to install, repair, troubleshoot, service and calibrate high-precision instruments.
- Document service work and maintain accurate service records.
- Work independently while representing ZEISS in a fast-paced environment.
- Engage in field and classroom training for the first ~3 months.
