Job summary

ProMach is hiring a Field Service Technician based in Deer Park, NY to install, repair and service automated machinery at customer sites. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, perform upgrades, and train customers while building strong relationships across diverse environments.

You may also support our Deer Park facility with assembly and testing of new machines and participate in Factory Acceptance Tests, traveling up to 75% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of machine startup, repair, and maintenance on medium to large-scale industrial equipment.
• High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Strong technical skills including reading drawings and wiring schematics; familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, and servo controllers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with solid organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; able to train customer personnel.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally (passport required).

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, repair, and maintain equipment at customer sites (electrical and mechanical).
• Troubleshoot and adjust equipment to meet contracted efficiency; perform audits, upgrades, and training.
• Document all service activities in site reports.
• Suggest machine upgrades, retrofits, and spare parts to improve safety and performance.
• Train customer personnel during installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Support the Deer Park, NY facility by assembling/testing new machines and participating in FATs.
• Maintain flexibility to adapt to diverse work environments and resolve issues quickly.
