ProMach in Deer Park, NY is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, repair, and maintain automated packaging machinery at customer sites. You will troubleshoot, train operators, and document service activities while traveling up to 75% to support customers across regions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of machine startup, repair, and maintenance on medium to large industrial equipment.
• Strong mechanical repair and ability to read part/assembly drawings and wiring schematics.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service; willingness to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, repair, and maintain Modern Packaging automated machinery at customer sites, including electrical and mechanical work.
• Troubleshoot and adjust equipment to achieve contracted efficiency; perform audits, install upgrades, and provide operator training.
• Document all service activities in detailed site reports.
• Support customers by recommending machine upgrades, retrofits, and spare parts.
• Train customer personnel during installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
• When not traveling, support the Deer Park, NY facility by assembling/testing new machines and participating in FATs.
• Maintain flexibility to adapt to diverse work environments and resolve issues quickly.
