Job summary

ZEISS Group is seeking a Field Service Technician for the Cleveland area, covering greater Cleveland and south to Akron. You will join a comprehensive training program and then travel to customer sites to install, repair, troubleshoot, service and calibrate advanced measuring instruments.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or technical schooling, experience with hand tools and electrical test equipment, and proficiency with Microsoft Windows.

Qualifications

High school graduate or GED; technical schooling or degree in electronics, industrial mechanics, or similar.
Experience with hand tools and electrical test equipment is required.
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows is required.
Willingness to lift up to 75 pounds and to travel in-region 50+ hours per week.

Responsibilities

Complete ~3 month in-field and classroom training.
Travel to customer sites in the region to install, repair, troubleshoot, service and calibrate measuring instruments.
Work hands-on with high-tech CMMs, using mechanical and electronic aptitude.
Document service work and maintain accurate service records.
Represent ZEISS in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
