Job summary

Synergy ECP is seeking a Field Service Technician based in Maryland to provide expert on-site and remote support for IT systems and security hardware at government facilities. The role requires substantial travel (50%+), the ability to lift 50 pounds, and the capacity to work in confined spaces.

A Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required. The candidate will install, configure, and maintain network hardware, servers, scanners, printers, and related equipment, read engineering

Qualifications

• Provides expert and second-tier technical support to field engineers and technicians.
• Guides installation, configuration, and enhancement of Company products, programs, and systems.
• Tests and trains customers regarding technical aspects of designated systems and services.
• Maintains network stability through advanced troubleshooting and proactive maintenance.
• Reviews configurations to ensure successful deployment; partners with developers to reduce incidents.
• Answers questions about installation, operation, configuration and usage of designated systems.
• Willingness to travel 50%+ to CONUS and OCONUS Government Facilities.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert and second-tier technical support to field engineers and technicians.
• Install, configure, and integrate hardware and systems at customer facilities.
• Travel 50% to CONUS/OCONUS government facilities; obtain/maintain a US passport.
• Set up workstations and install scanners, printers, and related hardware.
• Read engineering drawings and work orders; interpret field requirements.
• Collaborate with developers and engineers to reduce re-occurring incidents.
• Support customers during off hours as needed.
