Job summary

GEA Germany GmbH is seeking a Field Service Technician to travel to customer sites for preventive maintenance and emergency service. You will install, commission, and train customers on new machines, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication.

The role requires up to 75% travel, a valid driver license, and a background in mechanical equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years working with mechanical equipment.
• Extensive travel up to 75% may be required.
• Ability to work up to 12 hours and occasional weekends.
• Valid driver license required.
• Background preferred in Wastewater, Renewable Energy, Dairies, Breweries.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to perform preventive maintenance and emergency service.
• Install, commission and train customers on new machines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and communicate effectively with customers.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality service levels and follow-up.
• Maintain professional, courteous, and business-like conduct on site.
