Job summary

Fives HPM is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, and service advanced machine tools at customer facilities across Texas and the United States. This field-based role rewards independence, problem solving, and direct customer support, with a primary focus on Texas and regional travel.

The technician will work across mechanical, electrical, and CNC systems, perform commissioning, maintenance, and repairs, and train customer personnel on safe operation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent with 2–4 years of related experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel (including internationally if required).
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, service documentation, and manuals.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and CNC technical capabilities for installing, troubleshooting, and modifying equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, demonstrate, qualify, repair, and modify Fives machines at customer facilities.
• Follow verbal and written technical instructions and interpret drawings and service documentation.
• Operate machines at customer sites to demonstrate equipment and verify performance.
• Train customer personnel on operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
