Job summary

Tennant Company is seeking a Field Mechanic in Phoenix, AZ to diagnose equipment issues, perform maintenance, and repair Tennant products at customer sites. You will manage daily service activity and collaborate with the service and sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 3 years of experience with mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems and engines, and a valid driver’s license. A company vehicle, training, and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and Tennant driving policy compliance.
• Minimum of 3 years troubleshooting and repair experience on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems and engines.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot/repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose and repair combustion engines on Tennant products or similar models.
• Plan daily schedule and own your territory, contacting customers to arrange service activities.
• Create and maintain records of service activities and reporting documentation.
• Keep company vehicle, tools, parts, and inventory clean and organized.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, and other technicians to support success.
