Job summary

Paylocity in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Service Technician to provide professional service and support for customers by performing field service installation, startup, repairs and maintenance of products as needed. You will diagnose issues, perform tests, and ensure safe operation of equipment while adhering to company procedures.

Travel and on-call duties may be required to support projects and respond to contingencies.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean MVR is required.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Experience with fuel tank installation and maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to meet DOT and FMCSA physical requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and customer support during field visits.
• Manage onsite tank installations, repairs, maintenance, and tests.
• Diagnose errors and determine proper solutions.
• Operate vehicle safely and maintains logs as required.
• Follow field procedures and cooperate with the technical team.
• Build relationships with customers and communicate clearly.
• Be on call for contaminations, marine and spills.
• Travel may be required for projects.
