Job summary

Paylocity Richmond, VA is seeking a Service Technician to provide professional field service, from installation through startup, repairs, and ongoing maintenance of products. You will diagnose issues, perform on-site tasks, and ensure customer satisfaction with a focus on safety and compliance.

The role may involve on-call duties for contingencies, and occasional travel to project sites out of town or state. A valid driver's license is required; CDL is a plus but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Must have clean MVR.
• Must be able to meet and maintain DOT and FMCSA physical requirements.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment.
• Ability to drive to various locations for necessary work.
• Familiarity with mobile tools and applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
• Manage all onsite tank installations, repairs, maintenance and test tasks.
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
• Operate vehicle in a safe manner.
• Follow all company's field procedures and protocols.
• Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization.
• Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings.
• Build positive relationships with customers.
• On call required for contaminations, marine and spills.
• May travel out of town/state for projects.
