Job summary

Power Electronics USA Inc. in Blytheville, AR seeks a Field Services Technician to install, commission, and maintain utility-scale solar and battery inverter systems across the U.S. You will start up inverters, diagnose faults, and ensure safe, compliant operation.

The role requires journeyman/master electrician license or electrical/engineering degree, 2–3 years of field service, and proficiency with Excel and ERP tools. Travel, strong communication, and customer-focused service are essential.

Qualifications

• Journeyman or Master’s Electrician license or electrical engineering degree required.
• 2–3 years field service, commissioning, or maintenance experience with industrial electrical equipment.
• Experience with solar inverters, MV equipment or power electronics is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up and commissioning of solar inverters at photovoltaic plants.
• Diagnose and repair inverter faults in the field.
• Replace components such as MV transformers, switchgear, boards, fuses, fans and filters.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance following safety procedures.
• Submit accurate field reports and manage inventory of parts.
• Provide technical assistance and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Travel across the U.S. and support 24/7 service as needed.
