Job summary

Power Electronics USA Inc. is hiring Field Services Technician to support utility-scale solar and battery inverter systems across the United States.

You will start up, commission, configure, and service inverters, diagnose faults, replace MV components, and perform preventive maintenance with safety at the forefront. Minimum 2–3 years in field service and a Journeyman or Master Electrician license are required; travel nationwide is expected.

Qualifications

• Journeyman or Master Electrician license and driving license required.
• 2–3 years of field service, commissioning, or maintenance of industrial electrical equipment.
• Experience with solar inverters and MV equipment is preferred.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and use diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up and commissioning of solar inverters at photovoltaic plants.
• Ensure systems are configured and operating per specifications.
• Diagnose and repair inverter faults in the field.
• Replace components such as MV transformers, switchgear, boards, fuses, fans, and filters.
• Conduct scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Submit daily field reports and manage inventory of parts.
• Provide technical support and uphold safety standards.
