Job summary

Securitas Technology in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Field Service Technician with an active EL06 license or near completion to support on-site installation and maintenance of access control, CCTV, burglary, intrusion, and fire alarm systems.

You will diagnose issues, perform routine maintenance, and document changes while collaborating with teams to ensure uptime and client satisfaction. A valid driver's license and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
Familiarity installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment.
Strong working knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarm, intrusion systems, and fire alarms.
ESA Certified Alarm Technician preferred; NTS Certified Service Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

Respond to trouble tickets to ensure application uptime and system performance.
Diagnose and resolve application issues individually or as a team.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks to maximize availability and identify faults.
Document all system modifications with change control tracking.
Produce technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Perform pre-deployment end-to-end testing of upgrades and major modifications.
Perform on-site installations of software upgrades and major modifications.
