Job summary

Securitas Technology, part of Securitas, is a world-leading provider of integrated security solutions delivering service on customer sites. We are seeking technically minded individuals with experience in low voltage electronics and security systems to join our field service team.

You will respond to trouble tickets, perform on-site installations and upgrades, and document changes in our change-control system while collaborating with teammates to keep client systems available and secure.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of IP networks and security systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to trouble tickets to ensure uptime and performance.
• Diagnose and resolve issues individually or in a team.
• Execute preventative maintenance to maximize availability and identify faults.
• Perform routine configuration changes (permissions, configurations).
• Document all system modifications using change control tracking.
• Produce technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Perform pre-deployment tests of upgrades and modifications.
• Install software upgrades and major modifications on site.
