Job summary

Novarc Technologies is seeking a Field and Customer Service Technician to support the Spool Welding Robot (SWR) production and installation at client sites. You will install, commission, and hand over SWRs while traveling to sites to provide technical support, maintenance, and on-site troubleshooting.

You will liaise with engineering, operations, subcontractors, and vendors, managing installations both on-site and remotely. Strong English communication is required, with 35–60% travel anticipated.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Field Service Technician or Engineer.
• Technologist Diploma or Engineering Degree in Electrical, Robotics, or Mechatronics; or equivalent with trade certifications.
• Excellent oral and written English communication and documentation.
• Adaptability to travel; some weeks on-site, others answering emails/calls.
• Experience with electrical control panels and reading schematics; mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission new products at client sites and perform SATs.
• Provide on-site and remote field service support; troubleshoot electrical and control issues.
• Schedule and supervise subcontractors; ensure HSE compliance.
• Create site reports and maintain toolboxes and consumables.
• Maintain Novarc Care maintenance duties and contribute to continuous improvement.
