Job summary

Novarc Technologies is seeking a Welding Technician to join our growing team and support production of our cobots. You will work with customers after sale to understand workflow, set expectations, train operators, and assist with adoption and ramp-up of the SWR in their production processes.

Collaboration with the Customer Support/Welding Operations teams is essential. The role involves on-site and remote support, travel up to 45-65% annually, and developing weld procedures while collaborating

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a welder.
• Minimum 3 years of Pipe Welding/Fitting experience.
• Legally entitled to work in the United States.
• Valid passport and ability to travel internationally.
• Valid driver's license.
• Flexible availability to work shifts as needed.
• This role is customer-facing and requires a clean and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical guidance and training to customers on utilizing the SWR.
• Provide remote or on site support for our clients.
• Support continuous improvement in the Welding Operations Team.
• Analyze R&D Welds.
• Assist with Novarc welding projects and developments.
• Develop new weld procedures.
• Field Installation support of equipment, if and when required.
• Evaluate clients’ shop workflow with the Revenue team to reduce bottlenecks and prep for SWR installation and training.
• Assist our clients with their adoption and production ramp up with the SWR.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
