Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Northern Virginia seeks a skilled Field Service Technician to install, configure, and maintain mission-critical radio systems for federal and enterprise customers. You will develop codeplugs, provision equipment, and provide on-site installation and training at customer sites or service centers.

The role requires an Associate’s or technical training background with 2+ years in LMR, RF, or IT. On-site work, security clearances, and ISO standards are part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Technical Training required; 2+ years of field service experience in LMR, RF, IT, or networking preferred.
• Experience with Motorola equipment and Secure Products is a plus.
• FCC GROL or CET Associate certification and Network+/CCNA is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Codeplug development for highly customized subscriber radios.
• Provisioning and deployment of subscriber and infrastructure equipment.
• Maintenance and repair of LMR subscribers and complex systems, including Secure Products.
