Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced technician to optimize and support complex communication systems, including RF and data infrastructure. You will troubleshoot software-driven electronics, provision infrastructure, and work with cross-functional teams to meet performance targets.

The role requires strong LAN/WAN, RF knowledge, and ability to work with customers and internal teams; security clearance requirements apply; US citizenship and CJIS background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN installation, configuration and maintenance (cabling, routers, switches, firewalls).
• Knowledge of RF transmitters/receivers and antenna networks.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time in a field environment.

Responsibilities

• Optimize and support complex communication systems including RF and data infrastructure.
• Provide technical support for software-driven electronics and system provisioning.
• Maintain, test, and document server hardware/OS and software infrastructure; troubleshoot issues.
