CVS Health in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide hands-on technical support for POS, pharmacy systems and inventory hardware across CVS locations.
The role requires 1+ year hardware troubleshooting, a valid driver's license, ability to lift 75 lbs and work days, nights, weekends or holidays; on-call 24 hours; a company car and phone are provided. Travel within the Minneapolis metro is expected.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of hands-on hardware troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs.
- Valid Driver’s License with no major violations.
- Willingness to drive between CVS locations within the Minneapolis, MN Metro.
- Available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and occasionally work on a ladder.
Responsibilities
- Delivers technical support for POS, pharmacy systems, photo kiosks and inventory management.
- Performs routine maintenance and hardware upgrades to ensure smooth operation.
- Integrates new equipment and configures connectivity across stores.
- Conducts complex troubleshooting and implements solutions.
- Maintains records of service calls and equipment installations.
- Collaborates with help desk, network engineers and software developers.
- Provides outstanding customer service during installation and repair of retail equipment.
- Ensures IT parts and supplies are stocked and orders placed as needed.
