Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Field Service Technician in California to deliver frontline technical support for point-of-sale and pharmacy systems across CVS stores. You’ll perform installations, routine maintenance, and complex troubleshooting, collaborating with help desks, network engineers, and developers to restore service quickly.

Requires 1+ years’ hardware troubleshooting, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 75 lbs, and willingness to travel within CA.

Qualifications

1+ years hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware, maintenance and repairs.
Valid driver's license with clean record.
Willingness to travel between CVS locations within CA territory.
Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work from ladders.
Availability for 40 hours weekly, days/nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

Delivers technical support to field employees, resolving issues related to POS systems, pharmacy systems, photo kiosks, and inventory management.
Performs regular maintenance tasks, such as software updates, hardware upgrades, and equipment replacements.
Integrates new technology equipment into stores, including setting up new POS terminals and configuring software.
Conducts complex troubleshooting to diagnose problems and implement solutions.
Maintains records of service calls, installations, and maintenance tasks.
Collaborates with technology team members such as help desk personnel, network engineers, and software developers.
Provides exceptional customer service while installing and diagnosing retail equipment failures.
Ensures IT parts and equipment are stocked and orders placed.
