Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide world-class support for Safeline systems across multiple sites in the US. You will start-up, audit, maintain, repair, and train customers on X-ray, metal detectors, checkweighers, and CI Vision equipment, while ensuring safety and high-quality service.

You will work with dispatch and management to schedule calls, prepare detailed reports, and maintain equipment and tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an Associate degree in Electronics or Engineering Technology preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; ability to coordinate with customers and internal teams.
• Proficient with all hand tools and digital test equipment; reading blueprints/schematics.

Responsibilities

• Provide field service for Safeline X-Ray, Safeline Metal Detectors, Hi-Speed Checkweighers, or CI Vision machines.
• Attend safety requirements for MT PI and customer sites; follow MT PI procedures.
• Schedule and perform service calls, prep reports and documentation, and manage service activity.
• Build and maintain customer relationships; act as trusted advisor.
• Identify root causes and perform first-time fixes; travel as needed.
