Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a Field Service Technician for Product Inspection (PI) to support Safeline equipment and other inspection systems across the United States. You will perform start-ups, audits, maintenance, repairs, and training, while ensuring safety and MT-PI procedures.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED (associate in electronics preferred), strong problem-solving and communication skills, ability to read blueprints, travel up to 100%, and a willingness to work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in Electronics or Engineering Technology preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills; knows when and how to seek assistance.
• Excellent customer service focus with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Proficient with hand tools and digital test equipment.
• Willing to travel extensively and work irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class field service support for Safeline X-Ray, Safeline Metal Detectors, Hi-Speed Checkweighers, and CI Vision systems.
• Attend and support dispatch, perform scheduled service calls with cost/time optimization.
• Develop strong customer relationships and act as trusted advisor.
• Identify root causes and provide first-time fixes where possible.
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain equipment, tools and inventory; stay current with training.
