Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a Field Service Technician to support start-ups, audits, maintenance, repair and training across X-Ray, Metal Detector, Checkweigher, and Vision machinery. You will manage site safety, deliver timely service, and maintain strong customer communications at customer facilities.

This role requires traveling to sites, interpreting blueprints, and performing diagnostics with tools while upholding MT PI procedures and standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Associate degree in Electronics or Engineering Technology preferred.
• Strong customer service focus with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Proficient with hand tools and digital test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Satisfy all Safety Requirements for MT-PI and Customer Sites.
• Attend tier calls led by a Regional Service Manager.
• Execute scheduled service calls considering cost, time and customer needs.
• Develop and maintain good customer relationships; be the customer’s trusted advisor.
• Identify root cause of service issues and aim for first-time fixes.
• Submit service reports and documentation promptly and accurately.
