Job summary

Maverick Power is seeking a field service technician to support installation, start-up, commissioning and service of power distribution equipment at customer sites. You will interpret drawings, collect and document technical information, and work with engineering and manufacturing to address issues.

A strong safety mindset and organizational skills are required. The role involves traveling to customer locations, reading wiring diagrams, performing diagnostics, completing field reports, and

Qualifications

2-year technical degree with 2+ years electrical/mechanical experience.
Willingness to travel, including overnight stays.
Ability to read electrical drawings and manuals.
Valid driver’s license and insurability to operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

Travel to customer sites and work independently or as part of a team on installation, start-up and commissioning.
Collaborate with Engineering, Field Services and Product Management to address quality and warranty concerns.
Read and interpret technical drawings, service manuals and product instructions for configuration of equipment.
Complete field technical reports and update safety documents and quality findings.
