Job summary

Maverick Power is seeking a Service Technician to support installation, start-up and commissioning of power distribution equipment with remote work and 50% travel. You will read drawings, troubleshoot, document findings and collaborate with engineering to resolve issues while maintaining safety.

Requires a 2-year technical degree and at least two years of electrical or mechanical experience, strong report writing, and valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2-Yr Technical Degree with 2+ years electrical/mechanical experience.
• Ability to travel, including overnight stays.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites for installation, start-up and commissioning.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Field Services and Product Management to address quality and warranty concerns.
• Read and interpret drawings, service manuals and product instructions for configuration.
• Prepare field technical reports and update safety/quality documents.
• Assist in addressing manufacturing quality issues and engineering change requests.
