Job summary

Maverick Power, a fast-growing power distribution solutions provider, is seeking a Service Technician to support installation, startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of field-deployed equipment. This role requires interpreting electrical drawings, documenting reports, and collaborating with engineering and manufacturing staff to ensure highest quality standards.

Travel up to 50% to customer sites, with a safety-minded, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or equivalent education and experience.
• Willingness to travel, including overnight stays.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company or rented vehicle.
• Ability to comply with safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites for installation, start-up and commissioning.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Field Services and Product Management on quality and warranty concerns.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, service manuals and product instructions for configuration of equipment.
• Prepare field technical reports and update safety documents; document quality findings and resolutions.
• Address manufacturing quality issues and engineering change requests with engineering and manufacturing staff.
• Interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, BOMs and specifications.
• Utilize electrical test equipment to diagnose, program and repair installed equipment.
• Assist engineering with collecting information for the development of technical documentation.
• Install, adjust and repair electro-mechanical components or assemblies.
• Support service sales with engineering for solutions and status updates.
