Job summary
Maverick Power is seeking a Service Technician to support installation, startup and commissioning of power distribution equipment. You will interpret drawings, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, collaborating with engineering and manufacturing to address quality and warranty concerns.
The role requires a 2-year technical degree (or equivalent experience), ability to travel including overnight stays, and a valid driver’s license.
Qualifications
- 2-Year Technical Degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to travel, including overnight stays
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
- Valid driver’s license and insurability
Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites for installation, start-up and commissioning
- Collaborate with Engineering, Field Services, and Product Management to address quality and warranty concerns
- Read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams for equipment configuration
- Complete field technical reports and maintain safety and quality documentation
- Utilize electrical test equipment to diagnose and repair installed equipment
- Support engineering with information for technical documentation
