Job summary

OWL Services is seeking a Field Service Technician in Waco, TX to install and service electronic equipment, including security and POS systems. This full-time role requires travel and on-call availability to support diverse client environments.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electro‑mechanical devices and coordinating with customers to ensure timely, quality service. Strong problem-solving and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required.
• Ability to work independently and be a strong problem-solver.
• Strong safety awareness and compliance with protocols.
• 24/7 on-call rotation with other techs.
• Travel up to 30-40% overnight.
• Experience with POS systems (Verifone/NCR) a plus.
• Experience with alarms a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good driving record required.
• Ability to use a computer and smartphone proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs electro‑mechanical devices including POS equipment.
• Completes service requests and maintenance in a timely, professional manner.
• Reviews work orders and manuals to properly service equipment.
• Uses testing devices and hand/tools related to the job.
• May be assigned to other areas for new installations and upgrades.
• Other duties as required.
