Job summary

Veritiv is seeking an Equipment Service Technician to install and repair equipment at customer sites, following blueprints and manufacturer instructions. You will operate equipment during trials to ensure production meets specs and provide on-site installation and start-up support. The role requires reading electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics, lockout/tagout safety, and ability to travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 5–10 years of related job experience.
• Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical drawings.
• Must possess valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong safety and lockout/tagout knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain and start up packaging equipment at customer and Veritiv sites.
• Support systems integration with customers and suppliers.
• Perform tests and troubleshoot to meet manufacturer specs.
• Generate quotes and complete work orders with accurate billing.
• Train customers on Veritiv equipment when needed.
