Job summary

Tennant Company is hiring a Field Service Technician in Fort Smith, AR. You will diagnose equipment issues, perform preventative maintenance, and repair battery, engine-powered, and robotic Tennant products at customer sites.

Radiating teamwork, you will own your daily schedule, communicate with customers about service timelines and future needs, and collaborate with internal partners to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and policy compliance required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing engines and mechanical/electrical systems.
• Experience using hand and power shop tools and diagnostic devices.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose complex problems on Tennant equipment.
• Travel within assigned territory to service customer sites and communicate service expectations.
• Maintain records of all service activities and reports.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of company vehicle, tools, and parts.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, and other technicians to support success.
