Job summary

Tennant Company is seeking a Field Service Technician in Alabama to diagnose and repair battery, engine-powered and robotic Tennant products at customer sites. You will perform preventive maintenance, manage schedules, and ensure safety and quality in every service call.

This role requires a high school diploma, 3+ years of relevant experience, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel to customer locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and compliance with Tennant driving policy.
• Minimum of 3 years troubleshooting and repairing combustion engines (LP, Diesel, or Gas).
• Experience with mechanical and electrical systems and using shop tools and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and engine systems on Tennant products.
• Own your territory: plan daily schedule and communicate with customers about service, timing, and billing.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, and other technicians to support success.
