Job summary

Tennant Company is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain Tennant products at customer sites across the US. You will plan daily routes, communicate service expectations, and document activities to support reliability, safety, and customer satisfaction.

The role requires 0–2 years of hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift and transport tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and adherence to driving policy.
• 0–2 years: troubleshooting and repair of mechanical/electrical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and use diagnostic tools.
• Experience with hand/power tools and basic computer use.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and engine systems.
• Own territory: plan daily routes, contact customers, and communicate service timelines.
• Create and maintain records of all service activities and reporting.
• Keep Tennant property, vehicle, tools, and inventory clean and organized.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, and other technicians to support success.
