Job summary

FAST Global Solutions Inc in Glenwood, MN, is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform installation support, on-site training, and maintenance activities for our equipment. This full-time role operates onsite and involves hands-on technical work with customers.

Qualifications

• Travel to customer sites up to 50%, with travel costs covered by FAST.
• Associate degree or equivalent with 1 year related experience; or equivalent education/experience.
• Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, HMI, PLC and electricity.

Responsibilities

• Provides installation support to customers and integrators assisting in machine operation, mechanical debugging, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Provides onsite machine level training including theory of operation and mechanical maintenance.
• Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Follows written procedures for troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Provides technical phone support and follows through until problem is resolved; coordinates with engineering, operations, customer service and others to expedite repairs.
• Reviews service handbooks and bulletins based on field investigations and product knowledge for customer support.
• Understands blueprints, sketches, schematics, drawings, part lists, and specifications for customer support.
• Assists in executing engineering test plans for R&D projects.
• Enters and updates CRM cases.
• Supports assembly as needed.
