Job summary

DistributionNOW is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver excellent customer service during field visits and dispatches. You will manage on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks, diagnose issues, and produce detailed service reports for customers.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment. Flexibility for shifts and travel may be needed. DistributionNOW values safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and/or equivalent in work experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, proficient in oral and written communications.
• Familiarity with mobile tools and applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
• Tie workflow to schedule.
• Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks.
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions on equipment.
• Produce timely and detailed service reports.
• Document processes.
• Operate vehicle in a safe manner and use field automation systems.
• Follow all company’s field procedures and protocols.
• Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization.
• Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings within capabilities.
• Build positive relationship with customers.
