Job summary

Getinge is seeking a Field Service Technician to support customers in the Orlando, FL service territory. You will perform on-site and remote troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic systems in accordance with manufacturer instructions.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent, plus 3+ years of field-based service experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a technical discipline (Electronics, Electro-Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years related field-service or technical maintenance/repair experience, preferably in medical/life science devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting, repair and technical support services within the assigned service territory.
• Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance following established procedures using proper tools and test equipment.
• Assist sales personnel in marketing Getinge equipment through joint calls, in-services and lead generation.
• Maintain service contracts by delivering high-quality work and assisting with renewals.
