Getinge is seeking a Field Service Technician for Raleigh/Durham, NC. The role delivers on-site and remote technical support for acute care therapies, with substantial travel and a focus on service contract renewals and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has electronics/electro-mechanical training, 2+ years in field service, and strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel up to 75% are required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electronics, Electro-Mechanical, Biomedical Eng or related field.
• 2+ years field service in medical devices or technical repair preferred.
• Willingness to travel 40–75% for field assignments.

Responsabilités

• Provide on-site and telephone technical service support for installation, inspection, repair and preventative maintenance of Getinge products within the territory.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, regional teams and the Technical Support group.
• Document all activities in accordance with Service policies and procedures.
• Provide technical assistance to Field Sales team.
• Maintain all service contracts and identify potential new contracts.
• Protect company assets and manage loaner/test equipment and spare parts.
• Make decisions based on policies and refer unresolved issues to the Service Regional Manager.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety regulations.
• Build quality into all aspects of work.
