Job summary

Getinge in Philadelphia, PA seeks a Field Service Technician to perform on-site maintenance and repair of medical devices at customer locations, following manufacturer instructions.

You will troubleshoot, service electronics, hydraulics and mechanics, provide remote support, and maintain high quality service while meeting KPI targets and safety standards. This role requires an Associate's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years field-based technical service or repair experience, preferably in medical devices.
• Strong troubleshooting of mechanical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting, repair and technical support to customers within the service territory.
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing using proper tools and parts.
• Assist sales with service-related opportunities and contract renewals.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain documentation and meet KPI targets for timely service reports.
