Job summary

MilliporeSigma is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, repair, and maintain water purification systems across assigned territories. You will perform validations and provide on-site solutions, ensuring optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a mix of mechanical, plumbing, and technical skills, with travel to client sites and potential overnight stays. A high school diploma or engineering degree is acceptable; industry experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3+ years field service experience or a engineering degree.
• Strong mechanical and plumbing capabilities with technical skills.
• Experience with electrical/electronics a plus and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional on-site service, repairs, PMs, and validations for water purification systems.
• Complete Work Orders accurately and document work performed.
• Maintain inventory, tools, and calibration standards.
• Generate leads for hardware, consumables, and service contracts via CRM.
• Occasional overnight travel and territory coverage as needed.
