DistributionNOW seeks a Service Technician to deliver field service and outstanding customer support. You will manage on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks, diagnosing issues and providing clear service reports.

The role requires problem-solving skills, strong communication, and the ability to adapt to changing schedules. A high school diploma and willingness to travel support success in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work flexible shifts.
• Familiarity with mobile tools and field applications.
• Assembly experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
• Tie workflow to schedule.
• Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks.
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions on equipment.
• Produce timely and detailed service reports.
• Document processes.
• Operate vehicle in a safe manner and use field automation systems.
• Follow all company’s field procedures and protocols.
• Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization.
• Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings within capabilities.
• Build positive relationship with customers.
