Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, calibrate, and maintain Wet Processing equipment for a leading semiconductor company. You will troubleshoot, train, and support customers across North America during and after the six-month training period in Dallas, TX.

Travel is extensive during training; after training you will support onsite deployments and interact with customers to ensure success and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must have a positive attitude and excellent communication with customers, management, and peers.
• Knowledge of electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, robotics, and computer controls.
• System integration, test, and debug skills.
• Experience with Semiconductor industry safety requirements and clean room environment.
• Ability to travel extensively within North America for field service; occasional international travel.

Insight Global is looking for an ambitious Field Service Technician, eager to learn cutting-edge technologies and drive customer satisfaction through support, for a global leader in the semiconductor industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installation, calibration, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting Wet Processing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform activities during installation, upgrade, testing, warranty, and repair of equipment, following up all customer’s and clients protocols related to safety and security
• Isolate and resolve equipment and systems malfunctions and take corrective action
• Assist with the implementation of new processes, methods, and designs
• Develop relationships with the customer to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention
• Serve as contact for onsite activities, communications, and provide support in all matters related to the equipment, technical, and field aspects for customers
• Report all tool actions/events and daily activities in field service reports
• Adhere to safety and confidentiality policies
• Extensive Travel will be required during the training period only.

The training will last approximately six months. This includes travel to various training locations. Once training is complete, this position will report to our customer in Dallas, TX.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical area and a minimum of 2 years of experience is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Military training and experience are welcome.
