Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an on-site service engineer for semiconductor processing equipment across the East Coast. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain systems, while coordinating with customers and peers to minimize downtime.

Requirements include 2 years of hands-on maintenance, knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems, a high school diploma, and willingness to travel 100%. A valid driver’s license and ability to pass background/drug tests are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of hands-on maintenance or repairing equipment or machinery.
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems.
• Open to 100% travel required.
• High School Diploma
• Ability to pass background check and drug test
• Valid Driver's License
• Associates or Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience working with / troubleshooting robotic equipment
• Experience supporting semiconductor equipment preferably lithography
• Military experience in MOS: Avionics Technician, Load Master, Electronics Technician

Perform on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment. Troubleshoot equipment problems, maintains records and reports as required. Coordinates activities with peers, supervisor(s) and customers to minimize equipment downtime and interruptions. Orders and installs parts, respond to emergency service calls as required. Instructs customer operating technicians on system operation and maintenance. Perform upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed. Remain current on equipment/tools through appropriate training, manuals, factory periodicals, and other relevant materials. Incumbents are responsible for the upkeep, maintenance and security of company property including vehicles, tools, etc. CT experience huge plus.

Skills and Requirements

• Prefer to sit on East Coast
• Open to 100% travel required
• 2 years of experience with hands on maintenance or repairing equipment or machinery
• Experience working with various mechanical hand tools (torque wrenches, socket sets, pliers, screwdrivers, measuring and inspection tools, etc)
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems
• Prior experience utilizing some PPE (masks, gloves, safety glasses, etc) and openness to wearing a fab bunny suit daily
• High School Diploma
• Ability to pass background check and drug test
• Valid Driver's License
• Associates or Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience working with / troubleshooting robotic equipment
• Experience supporting semiconductor equipment preferably lithography
