Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, calibrate, and maintain Wet Processing equipment for a leading semiconductor company. You will troubleshoot, train, and support customers across North America during and after the six-month training period in Dallas, TX.

Travel is extensive during training; after training you will support onsite deployments and interact with customers to ensure success and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must have a positive attitude and excellent communication with customers, management, and peers.
• Knowledge of electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, robotics, and computer controls.
• System integration, test, and debug skills.
• Experience with Semiconductor industry safety requirements and clean room environment.
• Ability to travel extensively within North America for field service; occasional international travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, upgrade, testing, warranty, and repair activities following safety protocols.
• Isolate and resolve equipment malfunctions and take corrective action.
• Assist with implementations of new processes, methods, and designs.
• Develop relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Serve as onsite contact for activities and communication.
• Report all tool actions/events in field service reports.
• Adhere to safety and confidentiality policies.
• Extensive travel during training period; training lasts about six months; after, report to Dallas, TX.
