MDS Staffing is seeking a union field technician to service electrical power equipment across the upper Midwest, with travel 50–75% and a strong union benefits package. Openings range from Level I to IV and include ongoing testing, inspection, and maintenance of switchgear, breakers, transformers, and cable.

You will run high-voltage test equipment, support outages and emergencies, and mentor apprentices and junior techs as you gain experience.

Formación

• NETA certification at any level, or relevant electrical experience on the way to certification.
• Experience with power factor or HV testing preferred.
• Willingness to travel 50–75%.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Pay & benefits:

$40.43–$53.91/hr. Daily overtime after 8 hours and double time after 10. Union medical and dental, union pension, per diem and hotel covered when traveling.
