Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a union field technician to test, inspect and maintain electrical power equipment across the upper Midwest from Minneapolis–St. Paul, MN. This full-time role includes a strong union benefits package and a pension plan with travel as part of the job.

You will work on switchgear, breakers, transformers and cables, operate HV test sets, and support outages and emergencies while mentoring apprentices and junior techs. Travel is 50–75%.

Qualifications

• NETA certification at any level, or relevant electrical experience toward certification.
• Experience with power factor or HV testing preferred.
• Willingness to travel 50–75%.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Pay & benefits:
