Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group in the upper Midwest is seeking a union field technician to test, inspect, and maintain electrical power equipment across the region. This role includes testing high-voltage gear, commissioning new installations, and supporting outages and emergencies.

Openings range from Level I through IV, with 50–75% travel, a union benefits package, and a pension. Union per diem and hotel coverage apply when traveling.

Qualifications

• NETA certification at any level or working toward certification.
• Willingness to travel 50–75%.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

What you'll do

• Test, inspect and maintain switchgear, breakers, transformers and cable.
• Run high-voltage test equipment, including power factor test sets.

What you bring

• NETA certification at any level, or relevant electrical experience on the way to certification.
• Experience with power factor or HV testing preferred.
• Willingness to travel 50–75%.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Pay & benefits:

$40.43–$53.91/hr. Daily overtime after 8 hours and double time after 10. Union medical and dental, union pension, per diem and hotel covered when traveling.
