Job summary

Essenti Talent is seeking a union field technician to test, inspect, and maintain electrical power equipment across the upper Midwest. Openings range from Level I to IV, with 50–75% travel and relocation available.

You will work with switchgear, breakers, transformers, and cables, using high-voltage test equipment and supporting outages. NETA certification or progress toward it is required, with a valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• NETA certification or on the way to certification.
• Experience with power factor or HV testing preferred.

• Commission new installations and support outages and emergency calls.

Pay & benefits:

$40.43–$53.91/hr. Daily overtime after 8 hours and double time after 10. Union medical and dental, union pension, per diem and hotel covered when traveling.
