Job summary

Barrette Workforce Solutions, LLC is seeking an on-site field technician in Minneapolis, MN for a full-time union role. The position involves testing and maintaining electrical power equipment across the upper Midwest, with travel up to 75% and a union benefits package.

You will test switchgear, breakers, transformers and cables, operate high-voltage test equipment, and support outages while mentoring apprentices and junior technicians. Relevant NETA certification or experience is required.

Qualifications

• NETA certification at any level, or relevant electrical experience on the way to certification.
• Experience with power factor or HV testing preferred.
• Willingness to travel 50–75%.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Pay & benefits:

$40.43–$53.91/hr. Daily overtime after 8 hours and double time after 10. Union medical and dental, union pension, per diem and hotel covered when traveling.
