Job summary

Getinge is seeking a Field Service Technician to service customers in the Orlando, FL area. You will troubleshoot, repair and maintain medical equipment, on-site and remotely, following manufacturer instructions and safety standards.

You will work with sales for service contracts and customer training, while ensuring high quality work and strong customer service. A technical degree and hands-on experience are required, with the ability to lift and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in field-based technical service or maintenance/repair, preferably in medical devices.
• Experience with biomedical or life science equipment is a plus.
• Associate degree or military equivalent in a technical discipline is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting, repair and technical support within the Orlando service territory.
• Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance per procedures using proper tools and test equipment.
• Assist sales with in-services, joint calls and leads; support contract renewals.
