Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance on Varian Medical Systems equipment. You will manage a field schedule and travel to customer sites in the Raleigh area, escalating issues as needed and ensuring documentation is completed accurately.

The role requires solid electronics knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to work with handheld test equipment; a HS diploma or equivalent is preferred and credentialing is required for site

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred with electronics exposure.
• Strong time management and customer communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of electronic/electro-mechanical systems and test gear.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on Varian Medical Systems equipment.
• Manage daily/weekly field service schedule and travel logistics.
• Escalate incidents when needed and request senior support.
• Complete service work orders and maintain parts/documentation.
• Communicate follow-up actions to the designated representative.
