Job summary

Wiese is seeking a Service Technician to repair material handling equipment in Lafayette, IN. You will be the primary contact for customers, representing the company with professional mechanical service and customer service excellence.

Responsibilities include safety leadership, troubleshooting equipment, completing paperwork, and promoting additional services while managing your workload efficiently.

Qualifications

• Hazard assessments and safe work practices
• Strong multitasking and time management
• Able to lift 50 pounds and crawl in confined areas
• Provide your own hand tools
• Working knowledge of computer systems and field software
• Demonstrated customer service skills and professional conduct
• Pre-employment drug screen, physical exam, background check, MVR, and E-Verify

Responsibilities

• Actively support and lead safety initiatives; follow safety policies and report unsafe conditions.
• Troubleshoot customer equipment problems and obtain customer approval before repairs.
• Complete and submit all required paperwork.

• Manage workload effectively to meet customer needs.
